With over a decade of international experience in intellectual property, entertainment, licensing and Internet law under his belt, Alexander Loveyko, Esq., is a New York-licensed attorney in the Miami office of the IP and Entertainment law firm ChaseLawyers®. He has advised major international brands during his legal career, including one of the most famous IP brands in the world – the Russian animation sensation “Masha and the Bear”.

Graduating magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School with a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property, Media and Information law, Alex earlier completed his International Sports Law Master’s program at the top of his class in Madrid and is also licensed to practice law in his native Russia, along with the state of New York.

As part of his current diverse practice, he represents start-up owners, entrepreneurs, website and mobile app owners, fashion designers, inventors, Amazon store owners, as well as musical artists, producers, record labels, visual artists, movie makers, and international athletes. A significant portion of Alex’s practice is related to music, representing a number of artists, who’ve been able to grow their careers independently to a volume of $1M+ annual revenue, in addition to helping clients with distribution, licensing, catalog purchase negotiations for those artists, who wanted to receive support on their journey.

Along with his expertise in Intellectual Property, Alex brings to the ChaseLawyers® firm an intimate knowledge of immigration law, having gone through the immigration process himself while re-settling in New York from his native Russia. Alex is thus uniquely qualified to walk in the shoes of international musicians, artists, entertainers and athletes who rely on ChaseLawyers’ expertise to expand their careers in the United States market.

In recent years, Alex has been working closely with a variety of Web3 clients, providing legal advice and guidance on the complex legal landscape of the emerging blockchain and decentralized technologies. He has helped clients navigate the regulatory and legal challenges of launching initial coin offerings (ICOs), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and decentralized applications (DApps). His expertise in intellectual property law has also been instrumental in helping clients protect their blockchain-based innovations and assets.

Alex also actively participates in the startup and tech community of the city of Miami, hosting Office Hours and regularly presenting on the topics of Intellectual Property, Internet, Social Media, Web3 and Startup Law. He also acted as both a co-Director and a mentor for the Miami Chapter of Founder Institute – the world’s largest startup accelerator – helping dozens of founders with various aspects of launching their tech businesses in addition to his legal practice at ChaseLawyers®.

In addition to Alex’s startup accelerator participation, he has also presented and spoke at a number of conferences on the topics of IP, Royalties, Web3 Compliance, NFTs, Music Business, and AI over the years, including Music and Tech Conference, WIPO, NFT.NYC, TWC Orlando and more.
