Josh Katz

Josh Katz, Esq. is a Florida-licensed attorney practicing sports and entertainment law. Before entering the legal field, Josh worked for the Baltimore Ravens as a member of the organization’s Strategy & Analytics team. After three seasons in the NFL, he attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he earned both his J.D. and LL.M. in Sports & Entertainment Law. While at Miami Law, Josh served as a Teaching Assistant to program head Peter Carfagna.

During law school, Josh gained extensive experience in athlete representation. He interned with several prominent agencies, including Athletes First and Rosenhaus Sports Representation. He also worked with Heitner Legal and Raymond Representation, where he assisted in representing student-athletes navigating the evolving NIL and revenue-sharing landscape. In these roles, Josh helped advise clients on protecting their NIL rights and negotiating favorable agreements with universities, collectives, and brands.

Prior to joining Chase Lawyers, Josh worked with the Jacksonville Jaguars’ legal team, assisting with a variety of matters, including sponsorship and commercial partnership agreements. Whether working with professional or collegiate athletes, Josh is a strategic, data-driven, and detail-oriented attorney focused on protecting the long-term interests of athletes at all levels.
